The Morpeth to Newcastle road race is BACK after a ten year absence. Northumberland County Council chief Grant Davey believes “The announcement is a testament to the fact that Northumberland is fast becoming a go-to place in the North East for major bike events.”
 
Staying true to its heritage there will be three races for runners of all ages. Cyclists can join the fun for the very first time, enjoying a unique opportunity to ride a 26 mile route on closed roads. Organisers anticipate thousands of runners and riders will sign up to what promises to be a very special addition to the North East’s sporting calendar.
